INFINITE DIGNITY

 

Robert the Sinner (his current manifestation) often promulgates the latest propaganda offerings from the Catholic Church aka The Vatican. These are in the form of the regular missives sent from The Vatican to its outpost churches around the world and are about whatever 'bee in the bonnet' the pope and his cohorts have at the time.

It seems that they are on the attack against gender theory and have wrapped up denunciation of this and LGBQT issues in a 12,000-word treatise articulating previous church teaching on a number of issues related to human dignity. This is the release of the Vatican declaration Dignitis Infinita. 

Robert posted a snippet of this stuff today see: HERE where he concentrated on parts 61 and 62 (there are 66 parts) which cover digital violence. Robert skipped over the sections on war, human trafficking, sexual abuse, violence against women, abortion, surrogacy, euthanasia, marginalisation of people with disabilities, sex change and of course gender theory - the one, as I said, that The Vatican were really on about.

Maybe they will follow later and the official talking points this week will be digital violence:  

"Although the advancement of digital technologies may offer many possibilities for promoting human dignity, it
also increasingly tends toward the creation of a world in which exploitation, exclusion, and violence grow,
extending even to the point of harming the dignity of the human person. Consider, for example, how easy it is
through these means to endanger a person’s good name with fake news and slander. On this point, Pope
Francis stresses that “it is not healthy to confuse communication with mere virtual contact."

This was a follow up to his post on a rather dodgy University of Groningen 15-year study of 2,772 individuals which 'found' that 11% of 11-year-olds had transgender inclinations—but that only 4% did at the age of 26.

I wrote a comment to this:

"This was a dodgy study with loaded questions most to do with girls wanting to be boys for reasons of equality rather than transgender issues. It was endorsed by Elon Musk which is why it’s getting coverage that it normally wouldn't for something so unscientific."

This was obviously a softening punch sent out by The Vatican before the killer blow of the Dignitis Infinita. 

 The Dignitis Infinita isn't new. It's really a summary of current church doctrine  related to the afore-mentioned human dignity but also on war, poverty, sex abuse and human trafficking. It refers to previous popes and Vatican material while attempting to assimilate them with Pope Francis's proclamations. 

Amongst the other stuff is the talking point that The Vatican really want their dupes acolytes congregation to be aware of - trying to change peoples' gender identities is akin to trying to become God.

57. Regarding gender theory, whose scientific coherence is the subject of considerable debate among experts, the Church recalls that human life in all its dimensions, both physical and spiritual, is a gift from God. This gift is to be accepted with gratitude and placed at the service of the good. Desiring a personal self-determination, as gender theory prescribes, apart from this fundamental truth that human life is a gift, amounts to a concession to the age-old temptation to make oneself God, entering into competition with the true God of love revealed to us in the Gospel.

The Pope has previously decried gender theory, arguing "it supported ideological colonisation and promoted dissension". The Vatican in Dignitis Infinita reinforced his claims in addressing perceived "critical" issues with the theory.

“'In recent decades, attempts have been made to introduce new rights that are neither fully consistent with those originally defined nor always acceptable,’” the declaration recalled. "'They have led to instances of ideological colonization, (sic) in which gender theory plays a central role; the latter is extremely dangerous since it cancels differences in its claim to make everyone equal.’”
